    I don't suppose you can place these ruins on a large flat deck/rooftop or something similar? Or is it more like a regular house when it comes to placement?

    No photo, but you can go into Finchfield, located above Brittany cemetery and Brittany, I made two and put them side by side up on the island with the lighthouse. Along with the large and medium ones.
