The SotA Launcher could use some improvement. Nothing major.

    • Option to limit downstream rate. I have decent broadband but when SotA is downloading it saturates it (Peer to peer is off).
    • The Peer to Peer option should probably be opt-in instead of opt-out. Maybe the first time the launcher is run it could just say "Hey this helps our servers ... " and ask if the user wants to participate (and if so if they want to limit the upstream rate).

With the .torrent file from out of the Downloads directory, you can do the download with a regular BitTorrent client. But most patches aside from the first monthly release are small enough, and download times scattered enough, that only the first big patch is worth downloading manually.

    I don't BitTorrent. Ever.

My concern is when it's doing the download it hogs up whatever bandwidth it can get and it should have a simple limiter in it like most downloaders have.
