    Since everyone says overland map how come this button doesn't say start on Overland Map.

    You mean the overworld?

    Probably because there's different ways to call it.

    Well considering that "overworld" is the only term I've actually heard of and that it actually has a wiki entry, I'm more inclined to believe that that's the proper term.

    I've always thought that the term "overland map" sounded more technical than immersive. Acronyms also take from our immersive qualities because they are also of the more technolian languages. Is an NPC going to ask me for a COTO?

    We need to always look for ways that help bring a more human life flavor into the names which will dominate our descriptive language so that there's less to discover in a technical sense and more to discover in a more human way. Much of our language has evolved from our technolian class of players. I'm not suggesting that our technolians are not human or very helpful and well needed, I just saying that once the technolians have released something into "our world", not overland map, that we need to re-address the terms used in search of more immersive description.

    (I'm also not sugesting that our technolians are human :p)
