Suggestion: More Experience from Older Monsters & Creatures

    Suggestion:
    More Experience from Older NPC Monsters & Creatures...

    I have noticed that some monsters are not being hunted as much as others, or a creature or 2 (such as a stag) could be remaining alive allot longer than other creatures. Whether or not their age is from no one hunting them, or by the creature's ability to evade being killed, these creatures having achieved this, could have a timer within them, where the older they are, the more exp points they are worth.

    I believe in implementing such a thing, we could better encourage players to be using more of the map, all the time and discourage camping any spot for long periods of time.

    I know it would give me more motive to run down a stag or two and possibly wade myself into a sea of spiders.
    What do you all think about that? o_O

    Hmm I can see where that might work for me at least. I know hunting in one area because thats where the xp is does get kind of boring specially when you are running around alone.

    Yep, the longer a MOB stays alive over time, it can inherit prefixes like "Great Stag" or "Elder Stag" or whatever. Presumably it has survived battles and thus is deserving of the title. But if you did come across such a creature, would you still cut it down?

    I like this idea if it's dynamically linked to the strength of the monster.

    So for example, the Wolves are not hunted for days, so they become Elder Wolves and therefore are worth more XP. That makes a lot of sense to me, and it seems a good way to balance the game out. New player areas would be excluded from this, of course.
