    Sorry to be blunt, but are you kidding me?

    From the QA R33 draft we know at lvl 1 you start with range 15 and 30sec cooldown.

    On lvl 100 I have range 20 and 20 sec cooldown. So do I need lvl 200 for the maximum? Please look again on this skill. At lvl 100 we should be much closer to maximum, the last 50 lvls should only bring like the last 10%

    Im a Huuuge fan of taming being very hard, but 100 is considered GM status right?

    Im not expecting max ability at GM or anything but from 30-10 20 is the 50% point

    How is cooldown even relevant though when you can just put it on a deck with unlocked slots and have it pop up without considering cooldown? I think the bigger hit is how absurdly weak the tamed summons are now.

    200 is max, gm is roughtly 1/1024th of the way to max. To put it in perspective... you need 2 million exp to gm, you need 2 billion to hit max, on the easiest skills.

    I really wish they'd stop trying to balance things with "cooldown". Cooldown is pointless as a balance mechanism until they make it apply to unlocked decks. Especially since any solo tamer has to use an unlocked deck by neccessity, in order to appropriately use the 6 second tame trick that allows us to tame rooted creatures with them hitting us.

    I was pointing out that math on skill progression is a bit weird, and that 100 is "gm" but it's not max.
    GM in this game just means "basically competent".
    It's the -start- of mid-game, not the endgame as it is in a lot of MMOs.
    it means you're out of the newbie forest.

    For skill progression: 100 is not halfway between 1-200. 190 is.
    100, GM, is less than a thousandth of getting to max.
    at 190 skill, you have halfway gotten the exp needed to get to 200.

    If this is the case we need more zone levels added to give more XP per creature kill and per hour. I've been in level 5 zones for dozens of levels now and most of its green to me now. If we're to keep grinding XP to get skills to 200 we need higher level places to do that. Better loot would help too, it's pitiful.

    @DarkStarr
    Just to summon it up again. If they really made max skill 200, which should not be reachable because there is a soft cap with decay at lvl 150, than please remove the depressing max range and cooldown from the R33 notes. Those are numbers that can't be reached.
