The hunt for Onyx & Citrine

Soooo... many have been hunting for these two gems in game. It seems as if they are no where to be found. We do have some evidence that they WERE in game in this release, screenshot here:


We are not exactly sure where these came from, it may have been a random drop in a bag or chest, but we have not been able to find anymore.

Can the Dev's (or anyone else) confirm that these are in the game or not and save us countless hours of searching if they are not in?

Nope! We have a whole team of people out looking....

 

You must look in every nook and cranny - or in some bags, if you're lucky. At least for the onyx. No idea about the other stuff.

I scared a chicken in Owls Head and an onyx popped out.

 

@DarkStarr, @Chris, @Attenwood ? Are these actually in game?

 

Last time I saw Onyx and Citrine they were showing me the backside of their G-strings, stuffed to capacity with singles, and looking for someone richer than me to take to the VIP Champagne Lounge.

What happened after that is kinda blurry, but I do know my Amex no longer works, my "wife" is now a "plaintiff", and it hurts when I pee.

Why must the righteous suffer so?

I read somewhere (nobles, maybe) that onyx was in the Hilt basement. Did you look there?

@DarkStarr we would still really like to know if either of these are indeed harvestable right now.

 

Does the Gem Room exist in Spectral Mines anymore? I can't seem to find a way down.

edit: nvm.. found a gap and am exploring deeper...

 

Nothing there, afaik.. Looking through Etceter Mines.. but can't get to the lower level with the magic barrier.. help?

 

There are skeletons that have either notes or books on them (can't remember which) and you have to have them all to break the barrier.

 

i'm down there now. ruby, garnet, sapphire, amethyst.

 

Where oh where could my onyx be? I've searched everywhere now and it's not in game. Can we patch it in real fast?

 

I mean... he is pretty spry for an older dude, but elusive? Nah. I'm going to bet you will find him either in the Cottage Grove crafting center or in SPO mining like a madman.
