The Little Book of Gratitude 2016, DEADLINE 11/20 FOR ENTRY

Greetings fellow Avatars!

As another Thanksgiving approaches in the US, I would like to capture many of the people and things you are grateful for this year.

If you want to be included, simply write your thoughts in a reply to this thread. Please limit yourself to 100 characters. (It's those book length restrictions!) Even with the limit, there may be 2 volumes if we get many responses.

I will collect all the submissions and format them into a book or books available in-game for a very modest price.

I am exceedingly grateful that Shroud allows us the opportunity to capture things like this in-game. Please join us in giving thanks!

I am thankful that rum is both an intoxicant and an antiseptic.

 

I am thankful for unexpected friendships from far away places.

 

I am grateful to the community and the developers for the belief both have shown in me over the years.

 

I am thankful for the opportunity to reconnect with old friends in a beautiful new world.

 

I am thankful for a game that allows me to play Ultima Online in real(not enhanced) 3D!

 

I'm grateful for a Dev Team that not only appreciates, but actually asks for help from the community to make this the best game it can be!

Knowing that OUR wants and needs are as important to THEM as they are to US is why this game will succeed.

 

I'm thankful to have great friends that have made New Britannia the 2nd home I've been looking for.

 

I'm thankful to the devs for building an amazing game, and the wonderful community who complete it.

 

Im thankful that SOTA gives me an escape into this magical world, where all my troubles disappear for just a little while.

 

I am thankful for an online home where friends can become family.

 

I am thankful that each of the Avatars are more like a family of caring loved ones than just a character in a game. I am grateful that instead of looking on the outside I am sitting on the inside of the hearts of love.

 

I’m grateful for my 4 little grandsons. The 6-year old likes to jump off buildings with my avatar.

 

I am thankful that this world exists where I strive to Make a Difference and manage to make good friends along the way.

 

I am thankful for family, friends, and avatars. I am thankful that the Dev's and Richard give us a new vision of virtual creation.

 

I'm thankful for being apart of SOTA's story and the ever growing community.

 

I am thankful for the friends that I have made while playing SotA. They have brought me laughter when I was feeling low, excitement when I was feeling bored, and motivation when I was feeling listless.

also ... I'm thankful to have finaly met a person which became a very important part of my live

 

I am thankful that I can carry 100 fish to feast with fellow outlanders as we live the tales of yore everyday forthwith.

 

Family and friends, food and drink,
Adventures , and puzzles which make me think.
Honing my skills and testing my mettle.
Crafting my wares, stirring the kettle.

Remembering those who've gone to soon,
Gazing at comets, stars and the moons.
Laughing at the Royal Baffoon-
Thankful I'll wake and you will too.
