I think the real issue isn't placing a Viking home next to an Obsidian tower, it is stacking decorations, dyes or general absurd decoration strategies that destroy immersion for some players. Even with a checkbox of allow this or not allow this, people will bend the rules to the absurd. You have to make judgement calls in your POT manually of what you want or not. Asking the devs to code a system is making them spin their wheels and waste time (with an opportunity cost of missing a better feature) when it won't solve the problem.

    Poor implementation. Need proactive controls.

Agree with you on this one Drocis, Would love to be able to set each lot in my pots to only accept certain types of houses. Or at least certain parts of it.

I explain right above your response here how proactive controls would be costly to develop and ineffective at the same time.

The biggest gripe I have with towns in SOTA is that housing looks a mess with all the weird mix of housing styles that come in as part of player housing. Totally ruins the ambiance of the towns.

    BRITTANY FIELDS: HOUSING LAYOUT

A short walk away from Brittany Central, Brittany Fields offers the peace and tranquility you need to wind down after a long day, come, stay, buy a lot and come to understand Brittany's hospitality.

Brittany Fields is located to the Southwest of Brittany Central. Pastures and open fields give way to dense city streets as you approach the Brittany Central gates.

Brittany Fields centers its economy on agriculture and farming. Numerous streams and ponds dot the fertile landscape.

Orchards line Brittany Fields to the Southwest, an area I like to call the Brittany Orchards.

Old Man's Oak , an iconic ancient tree pierces the landscape amidst player housing in the foreground.

Needs more bright colors and variety. I like the layout just seems like areas are starting to be a little generic. Anyways keep up the good work.

Looks good now but will look a mess once players start placing homes and flags with light beaming out of them.

The point of the banner was supposed to be a PvP/capture the flag thing. It makes no sense as a housing decoration. It does make sense as a PoT decoration in a field for PvP.

I really hope Portalarium changes it before the final wipe so that people can melt it and get a refund if they don't like the changes, but it really does ruin towns more than any other decoration out there.

I ended up moving to Brittany Fields and really like it and plan on trying to get them same spot after the final wipe, however, it needs a farmer supply NPC and Orchard NPC(s) and less guards seriously why are there so many guards in this type of area?

I just feel like there's literally no reason for an abundance of guards to be there.
