As some of you from IRC may have gathered, I've been waiting on parts for my new computer setup for a little while now. So now that I've got everything assembled, time to show off my build and give a demonstration of its power.
i5 processor, ASUS R9-290x powering graphics, 8 GB RAM, a 256GB SSD and a 4TB HD, and 750W of power.

You'd be surprised how crammed wires can get, even in a big case. Speaking of the case; yes that is a Blu-Ray player. Also, it glows.

Time to test out one of the most advanced games in my library to push my system's power. This game was so intense that most people had to upgrade their systems on release. Let's hope I can load this without pushing the system too hard.

Time to start it up. Here we go...

Seems to be some graphical issues with the title card, I may need to overclock...

There we go, took a bit of time to render, but the game is running on full(screen) settings.

It's even rendering the particle effects! Ok, time to test another game.

    Here we go!

You always know you're in for a treat when this guy's title cards come up.

Check it out, it's even rendering effects on a screen IN GAME! Top notch stuff.

Not bad, but let's push it just a bit more. This'll take all the power the Tornado can spare.

    Title card rendering quite nicely.

HOLY CRAP! This thing is actively simulating butterfly AI. IT MOVES ON IT'S OWN. I'm surprised the i5 can handle this kind of load.

Fully rendered realistic faces! Suck it, consoles. Look at those mouth animations. Truly top of the line. I'm afraid of running this game for too long, I think the fans are speeding up.

Well, got to the title card without a blue screen, I consider that a success. Overall, I think maybe I should have sprung more for stronger parts, but for now, I think the Tornado will run just fine.

    is everything.
I dunno, seems to be really stressing the system. Maybe turn the graphics quality down a bit.

Was waiting until I knew I needed it, but I'm probably going to get it either way eventually.

Looks good the first thing to upgrade would be to an I7.

I love putting together gaming machines...

    Enjoy!
