Thinking of Pledging but had Some Questions

Hello Ultima and Avatar Lovers!

Having been an Ultima fan from the past, I was watching SoA for sometime now. I like the direction SoA is going in and decided to create an account. I have been mulling (since October 2013) of possibly pledging but had my doubts like others. Therefore, I decided to create an account and pose my questions to the SoA community, in the hopes of helping me decide to pledge and invite others to do so as well.

My apologies if these questions have been answered, as i''ve attempted to search the forums but could not find the answers. I also just joined today. (grins)

So herein lies my inquiries:

1. I like to design my toon to look the real me. Will there be more skin tones? I also wish to ask if there will be a height slider or adjustment for chracters ?

2. At what level can I pledge to have my own house deisgned by the devs? My fantasy is to recreate my two homes in real life in a game such as SotA. Or has the time for such things gone by?

3. I did read the PvP update in the recent announcements. Am I correct in undestanding that pve and pvp will now be mixed, aside from beong flagged for PVP?

4. Was going to ask abput mounts so did see the update in regards to that topic.

5. Where can I find. more videos or sources regarding the card based combat?
I looked on Youtube where there was some posts, but was curious to to know if there are any recommended videos of such.

I hope to not violate any rules or proper etiquette with my post. If so do let me know.

1) This will keep getting better over time.
2) That level of customization doesn't yet exist.
3) There's a lot that needs to be sorted out on PvP. If you really want to avoid it, you will be able to. Everything else is subject to change.
5) This doesn't exist yet. It's hypothetical.

In all the rpgs and MMOs ive played, I try my best for my character to resemble the real me. Hence my question. I literally spend hours trying to do that with all my toons.

To try to answer your questions a bit further:
Character customization is evolving. There will be more options. You may not be able to get your avatar to look "just like you". Wait & see on that.
PVP is an important part of the game - there is a passionate "pvp brigade" - but likewise there are many who do not wish to participate. Broadly speaking, pvp will apply in certain areas. For instance, in areas where resources are scarce and highly valuable, expect that area to be flagged for open PVP. Also the owner of a player town can flag the town for pvp if he wishes - visit that town at your own risk But you can pretty much avoid pvp if that is your choice.
As far as I know the house designs are what the devs have given us. Further customization not possible at this stage.
Mounts - yes, in the stretch goal store. You can buy a baby donkey/horse; if the stretch goal is reached you will be able to ride it in game. That will almost certainly happen by episode 2 if not before.
Card combat - a concept which is being developed. We all await with great interest to see how it pans out.

Since people may offer both completely designed scenes and 3D models of items, I'd suggest sending a mail to the customer support asking if you could hand in a suggestion of a 3D model for a house as well. I'm sure you could manage to get a qualified artist on the forum in the relevant threads to help you out and create one, if they would later on implement the suggestion.
