    Avatars,

The game servers run on UTC time which is a consistent time throughout the year. However, many of your local times may have changed over the weekend (ours included).

This may have shifted event times or times that you receive items like your daily XP reward. Please double check your upcoming event times and match your local time with the game server's UTC time. If we need to make any time adjustments on our Community Event calendar, please let me know!

An excellent resource to double check what time is elsewhere in the world compared to UTC is Worldtimebuddy: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/

In Europe we already had the end of daylight saving on Sunday, October 29th.

I find it difficult calculating time zones, a device in game that provides a countdown to a time would be awesome.

Why do some things reset based on local Texas time and not UTC?

I'd love the idea of a countdown device, something "clock-punky" and analog-like.

Mostly.... though given the size and diversity of 'Europe' there are oddities and differences even in the overall changes, for example some countries change their clocks at 1AM local time, some at 2AM and some at 3AM - and if I remember right, Iceland doesn't use DST at all and just uses GMT without changing it for seasonal 'local time'. ;)

I love to live in a country that uses GMT/UTC all year long. For IT stuff, it's just The Right Way(tm) of doing timezones.
