Ulfheim Multiplayer Urgent Problem

If we're going to have fun lets Have lots of fun. Please put everything @200% no one will care and I can level 2x as fast. Then right before "official launch" turn it off and market for. Re players . I'm being dramatic but this just builds on my concerns lol even if only a day... how often is this done for people we don't know about

 

It was done a few time pre final wipe. This just sounds like a case of poor judgement.

Would have been just fine if it had been universally announced so it would not seem like favoritism then everyone could know to join the fun.

 

Imagine if we ever got town invasions that randomly invaded our towns. I was excited when I first got here and devs said they'd be able to drop hexes in for fun so the game would have interesting new things happening with the hex system. so much serious. Sometimes I may be sorry I missed out on a good time, but I am never sorry to hear someone else had a good time.

 

Im against favouritism and the like, but this was as described....just a bit of FUN by the sounds. Anyone getting upset over this really needs to get a grip......

Tossed a free 1 day 33% Adventure & Gathering Exp potion. Nice! Didn't realise they were available yet.

Joking aside, it sounds like something that should be done on a test server, not the live game where people are pouring in hours to grind and spending real cash to achieve etc.. just a thought.

 

I was in and out of that scene and saw it broadcasted several times on nobles chat. I at the various times there saw representation from most of the major guild's in the game. It wasn't a secret. This has not been uncommon in the game. seen devs drop all kinds of mobs in towns and other scenes and locations etc. seen and heard about this happening around the game at different times as well. It was a fun time. there was some pvp action. there was some grifing. At times there were so many people in the scene that most people could not walk. I personally died several times standing by my self and freezing for a few seconds and coming back dead as some skeletons killed me in the time frame it took me to catch up to the scene.

This is a game. people had fun but in all honesty, I would have made more XP and gold doing my normal loops in the game. there was a lot of socializing done. We had races around the scene as well.

I guess in the end the same people will always cry foul even though some of those crying foul were there them selves. Others will aways find ways to cry foul on anything they personally did not gain on. But this game is diverse many people play this game in different ways. My self I play this game to have fun and socialize. The politics of he said she said or waa they are cheating or its unfair. Guess what we are adults and we should act like it. In the end, my dad always told me that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

 

I need some help to decide whether I should be judgemental and emotional about this. How many people become as strong as Dingle from the event?

 

Unfortunately, even a perception of impropriety and favoritism can have lasting negative effects on a community that can ripple for a long time. I hope it was only a rare occasion but at this point after reading this thread the rocks been dropped in the pond.

Great idea for test server and would be great to see more things like this during QA week lowered gravity, speed, etc. might make the 4 hours more fun.

Broadcast on Nobles Chat? What's that? I have a basic account and no property, I assume I don't see that channel, am I correct?

If the opportunity to attend these impromptu events is advertised and viewable by all players that would be good, if only broadast to higher paying investors, then less so, but you gets what you pays for.

Looks like another perk for the inner circle. I can live with that, they paid a lot to get this game up and running, post a lot of bugs and ideas and we're still pre commercial release. I just wish it was all up front.
