Oh, every time I ran into these, as soon as I got the message, I ran out screaming. Perhaps next time I will just have a careful peek....

To answer the original question, as far as I know they are only in Stag encounters. (note that Dragon encounters come from stags too, watch out for those piles of ash on the ground!)

Balanced karma is best karma, if you know what I mean.

That would be Truth. But I've been specifically watching mine lately, and it hasn't budged. I would expect them to affect Love (dex), but mine is too far out of range to see a change. Perhaps you did something else that lowered your Truth.

Also, the foals healspam each other like crazy. You have to split a single one away from the others.

 

True! I can do damage to them quickly enough to overcome it, but once in a while it's a long fight.

 

Nope Elwyn, I was watching truth while in unicorn encounter and it was going down and up again depending on the unicorn’s color. My strength/dex were already +5 on the shroud cloak, so I didn’t see the change in stats.

 

Yes, if your referring to the unicorns, ive only had contact with them in Stag Encounters. And the piles of ash you reffered to, is that Sulfurous Ash? If so, thats from dragons? Holy sh1t, ive seen that & mined it in at least 3 or 4 different Stag Encounters. I had no idea until recently that we even had dragons in the game, god i could have been dragon lunch. I really need to read more...
