@Vyrin , for clarification: Do you suggest using the number and other imprints on the first or the last page? (there is no forced page break in the markups, right?)

Typical for books would be the pre-first page, but with the current books you always start on the right page, and cannot access the first left one, where I would expect such entries. Or I did not find how to do that :)

I'm obviously not Vyrin but I'd recommend putting it on the title page as shown at the beginning of the thread. It is of course up to the individual publisher where they put it.

Unfortunately books start now on the right facing page as you noted. The first left facing page remains blank except for the title at the top, right justified. Also, there is no way to force a break. While we hope the functionality of books will expand in the future, it is quite limited now.

I agree with Bowen. Having the number up front is a good idea so people don't have to search for it. It's also a good practice to create some sort of title page like I showed in the OP. However, I think everyone should have a lot of freedom here to suit their own purposes.

As Spoon already responded, I am only quoting you to request an alternate 5-digit option.

*facepalm* Somehow I read right past that requirement. Which is irksome, because the binary doesn't work out with 5 numbers :p Ah well, 01000 then. The publisher name is simply myself, Languard Gemstrike.

This is an interesting idea, I'm entirely unsure how many in game books I might publish, but I'd like to join in.
So.. how about.. 29831 for Copper Coyote Compendiums.
