Water source - Agriculture

Please give us the ability to harvest water... I live next to a river and have a well. Yet I have go to a craft vendor and pay 4g for a bucket of water for each plant?!?

Someone suggested earlier that the rain emote should be utilized on agriculture. That might be something worth looking into.

 

Fetching water from a well should be a no brainer. I expect that from a game. This was even possible in the old Ultimas.
Just double click on a well and if you carry a bucket it gets filled with water. If you do not have a bucket then you get the message "You need a bucket in order to fetch water".

This is part of "if it looks usable it should be usable".

 

Rain should affect crops and water should be attainable. Otherwise why have wells? Kind of immersion breaking

 

Yes, had to water my plants during a rain storm.

 

It would be interesting to see where people would live if rain watered crops . Because certain areas like desolis would really not receive hardly any rain. So In theory unless you use water from a well nothing would grow there and even if you did they should need watering more often due to the heat. Also by getting water that way people wouldn't,t really need to buy buckets of water saving money there.

There is a recipe for bucket as well. I guess they are biodegradable buckets that you get from the store.

 

This is all coming, eventually.

Edit: maybe not the rain emote watering the plants...

 

I keep hoping the rain emote will at least convince worms for fishing to come to the surface so I can gather fishing worms But yes, Solstar is right; most of this is coming.
