Well, for the record: Crafting, Housing and Skill based systems were all from MUDs which in turn got them from PnP RPG.

For instance LegendMud which Raph worked on before joining Origins had almost the same skill system which most nowadays associate with UO.

 

First of all, we have a problem and everybody knows it, okay. Because the kobolds, they come here, and they are criminals. Just criminals. And they take our jobs. And I’m the only one here that knew that and had the vision to say it. So we need to build a giant wall, a beautiful wall, all along the border. And I know how to build things, trust me, ask anybody. I know how to get things done, unlike the stupid incompetent leaders, the total losers, we have now. And you know something, we can get the kobolds to pay for it. And don't get me started on the elves, okay. I think we need to build a giant beautiful wall, the kobolds should pay for it, and we should keep the elves out. Because the elves are terrorists. I'm sorry to say it, sorry to say it, but if the glove fits.

We're going to bring back our jobs, and we're going to save our jobs, and people are going to have great jobs again, and this land, which is very, very divided in so many different ways, is going to become one beautiful loving land, and we're going to love each other, we're going to cherish each other and take care of each other, and we're going to have great economic development and we're not going to let other cultures take it away from us, because that's what's been happening for far too many years and we're not going to do it anymore.

And I have nothing against kobolds and elves in case anyone asks. People make a big deal out of nothing. Nothing. I just want to build a wall.

So I will build that wall. And the kobolds will pay for it. And we'll keep the elves out and I will make Novia great again.

 

True however if the sucessor claim is to be used here id say it represents uo better than the ultimas.

I would like to add I did get a warning from talking about walls and keeping elves out so I would suggest caution here guys. In case you didnt know elves are fictional Uo players arnt.
