I have lots of chest in my house holding things that I have grouped together. When R39 patches and they are over limit they will revert to bank in no particular order. I would like to try and manage that before hand but have not seen a list of limits. What is the limit on a bag, chest, wardrobe, etc.

Please help before my life and my things are in chaos!

It shows the limit on the container now. It is 300 for chests. The number is in the lower left corner of a chest. Limit is 300 and it will show 0/300 on an empty container. I just went in game and checked many kinds of containers and they all say 300 limit. They dont revert to bank, you just cant add to them.

There are some that are 150 also. That's the limit for a crafted sack iirc.

To add to what @majoria70 says.
    It's
300 Item stacks for furniture containers (wardrobes, desks, chests, trunks, etc)
150 Item stacks for bag containers (sacks, bags, etc)

Item stacks means that the weight or actual numbers doesn't matter but rather rows in the DB Hence why you don't want too much non-stacking items.

Please note however that the big change was that you are no longer allowed to have containers within containers. So no stacking of chests in a chest for instance.
