Mine is the Knight Benefactor house. I like the roof of the Knight Marshall Benefactor house better but I greatly prefer the way the Knight Benefactor house is partitioned off into separate rooms. Larger houses are more impressive but they're much harder to decorate.

    Anyway, which is your favorite?

Always loved the Knight Marshal tower because it has 3 unobstructed and large, but not super-large, rooms and the biggest open rooftop deck. But lately the founder Lord home is growing on me. Also love the rooftop on the Lord Marshal home. Anything bigger than that and I wouldn't want to decorate it. Dearly love the stone row houses too, with the fireplace.

And I love me a stone basement.

Wish they had stone basements for row lots.

Every home should have a fireplace.

Oops I put this on the wrong thread for a moment. *sighs* Ok well I usually put down the Lord founder or benefactor house. I love the Rock on them. I have the Lord Marshal pledge tier but the home from that tier takes up too much room and I cannot place my wishing well or a fountain for lack of space in the yard.

    4-story wood/plaster row house.

But also one of the adobe's, with a lot of room and a nice terrace.

For a village lot, I like a small house. My favorities are Citizen Benefactor, Edelmann Benefactor or a wood and plaster Row house. I love some of the larger village houses, but I would need a town lot to put them on in order to have enough yard space.

I loved the Adobe three level terraced home I had in Vengeance in R19, because the desert view from the roof was spectacular, and the house was really roomy. I didn't need a large yard in the desert biome. The POT I live in, Rift's End, is a forest biome, however, and I need plenty of yard room for green plants and bushes. So I turned in the Adobe house and went back to a smaller one.

Beside that, row houses. i will keep on saying it: you get the most for your money with them.

I like the Knight Marshal, the 2 and 3 story Row houses with overhangs and the Knight Founder and Benefactor homes. The 2 story village with overhang is also nice.

I really like the Knight Marshal, but the gloomy dark exterior ruins its appearance. Thus my favorite now is the Lord Founder home.

For me there's 3 currently. They're the only ones that are laid out well, make use of the spaces inside very well, and feel like a real home for characters.
    • The Benefactor Baron's Home.
    • The Wood & Plaster 2-Story with Balcony (Village & Town) Homes.
The Lord and Lord Marshal houses are pretty good, but most of the rest of the housing are just too blocky, bulky, dark, cramped for space and not laid out very well, or ugly to me.

open floor plans, asymmetrical buildings. the two-story wood and plaster village home, the founder knight home, and the underhill home (although i wish the stairs hugged the wall more). i am fond of the lord marshal home but it's too big; i'd like just the top three stories. i don't like external stairs (windmill, druid). i'd be really happy to see an open plan row. ...and to have one of those pretty blue roofs.

Also known as the Elf House in a Hill and the Viking house. Both look great with all that wood on the inside and outside. New era, new "log cabins"?

The Elf House in a Hill looks like a cross between a Viking house and a Lord Marshal house.

Although a big fan of my new Obsidian Tower, I have to admit I have a really soft spot in my heart for the simplicity that is my Viking Hut! :D

Regular log cabins, is what i meant. I own the viking, but dont really like the elf house, I would just like to see some regular old log cabins!
