Whats your Bar design?

Looking for ideas about building a Bar area in my house and was looking for ideas. Have a Bar of your own? Have any screenshots and/or able to tell me a bit about your design choices? I've got a space to tie the Bar and Kitchen together in the party room.

This is taken from my inn in Westend.

I decided on crates because the crafted tavern counters are just horrible. The kitchen is through the open door you see. Hope it helps!

 

Here's mine. I'm only using decorations that can be crafted or obtained in-game without COTOs or real money.

I'm a bit concerned about that candle on the piano and how close it is to that tapestry.

Otherwise, nice design!

 

I think the sheet music on the piano is by Carole King.
Tapestry should be safe.

Where do you get the Crates from? Crafted?

 

Housing decoration merchants. They're expensive; like 2000 or 2500 gc each.

 

Also to note that they sell Barrels as well. What is a tavern without an ample reserve of beverage?

 

I like to have a red and a blue bar :-D

Thanks for the info. Looks like it's gonna be quite expensive to finish my bar. Those chess/checkerboard on the crates the ones from the store or are there in-game alternatives?

 

From the store, but i'm sure you can trade some with people in game. Haven't found any in-game items that have this effect thus far.

It's a fitting look for sure. I obtained the large Chess set and I'm using the giant checkered board for a floor for my spice-room. (smoke lounge)

I originally wanted to use it as a stage for the band, but instruments could not be placed on it.

 

My internal tavern is pretty much finished. Some polish maybe, but I like where it's at. Still have work to do on the connecting Dance Hall bar.




The Piano in the corner managed to fill in a gap of concrete on the floor (Kobold Great Hall is terribly off center) and the Hand of Naturamans made the bricks flicker green, making the room feel more alive. Doesn't feel outta place as the green has the effect of 'neon lights' which, though possibly not of this land, fit with the 'Tavern' theme. The soft blue glow of the Elven Wine highlighted the alcohol display and made the top colored vials pop. May switch out the current bookshelf display for the deco vendor bookshelves so they can be stacked and elevated. The roses are due to the building being themed around the Red Rose. Most of the rooms feature prominent Red or Green colors.

This is my Tavern, built in a five story village basement (1st Floor).

 

Finally finished. A few more bits and pieces, but otherwise done.






Upstairs is for more personal meetings while the dance hall is for group activity. The sectioned rooms upstairs are for 4 people seating and the two door rooms upstairs is for 8 seating.





I really lucked out with the view from this location.
