When we get the Isle of Storm style POT's: an idea

When you do the slight variances of each, the things hanging out in space should be a priority of things to "shuffle up" from one type to the next.

The islands as well, if there will be more than one.

 

That's a great idea for space lovers too. Something to consider. I bet there are some great ideas people could come up with on this topic.

 

Indeed an interesting idea.
Maybe just two possibilities to leave such a PoT scene.
1 -> Using the stone cirle portal
Maybe alike to the portals already ingame they combine multiple PoT connections at one stone circle. But instead of waiting till the PoT is accessable maybe by using switches/touching something you can define the destination.
Or if we would like to have it more chaotic the destinations are not fixed and depending on the orbit of the PoT the connections with novia change.

2 -> Jumping down to novia and...well...appearing as a ghost at a small impact crater in a random scene on the novian map
By using this option maybe even some rare scenes could be visited you can just enter this way.

 

I'm generally for diversifying the POT templates. I get kind of tired of seeing the same templates over and over... at least, the same biomes over and over.
