Where did that sword go?

    Ok, this has to be fixed....

    When you sheath a sword it gets stuck in your back and disappears. There needs to be an animation for this otherwise it looks very amateur.

    It never bothered me.. although I use a sword and shield, and, just trying the animations with and without a shield one after another, I think it looks a bit smoother when you're also putting away a shield.

    I will say, eventually it would also be nice to see sheathed swords. Not only for players. It would be nice seeing NPC guards walking around with a sheathed sword, and a shield on their arm. The shield could have a coat of arms / sigil representing the town they're defending. Like the Skyrim guards.

    They need to find a way to blend the equipping / unequipping animations into the deck swapping, too. Right now you just get a hunched back until the deck swap finishes. It makes it feel clunky. There's not much they can do about animating the armor changes though (although personally I still don't understand why that's necessary in the middle of combat anyway).

    It gets thrown over your shoulders at the moment and clipped into your avatar....looks so weird.

    This is something I would love to see implemented, but I know that clipping poses a huge obstacle. It would nice to be able to differentiate yourself from others by weapon choice instead of everyone just walking around unarmed. Not only that but it's pretty unrealistic (I don't favor ultra-realism) and makes it feel like something is missing. "Why is everyone wearing armor, there's no one armed around here?"

    I don't want it to be realistic in that sense...I mean at the moment it looks like it is missing something....like it starts an animation and just stops.

    I sure wonder why some emote animations were priorized before functional animations ? Were the animations bought in unitystore then just slightly modified so it wasn't too much work ?

    You should see the small female two handed axe animations. The axe actually grows, shrinks, (yes, the entire weapon gets 2-3 times larger) switches anchor points, and spins completely through the avatar just with normal auto attack.
    It's pretty hilarious. :D
