    If you haven't seen The Mad Hermit's YouTube channel yet, it is worth a look. This is a Duke's house that was completely decorated by a player using player crafted items! Worth a look and a good place to go check out layouts of your future homestead. Give this guy a thumbs up, too. He works his butt off doing these videos.

    Wanted to throw up a poll to see where the community would like to lay down their roots so player town owners have an idea of which direction we should go. Supply and demand!

    Who wants a castle in a swamp or a forest? We aren't cavemen anymore! I want a city like Ardoris nestled on a mountain side, with a Titan shield!

    King of Swamp Castle: When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.

    And just think how hard it is to attack if you cant even to get the first three castles to stand. Good luck rolling in battering rams and trebuchets!!

    If I was only thinking of a cool place to live then snowy mountains (as I answered). Neuschwanstein is what I'd want. ;)

    But as I'm thinking more practically when it comes to placing in this game then I'm more likely to take fertile grassland, or rather urban.

    more like the unique political environment and geographic biome that was discussed in multiple chapters of the Chronicles of Dippy that I wrote....
