Thanks, but all credit goes to @Rhudaur and @Cirsee for bringing the wildflowers to my attention. :)

I agree POTs, even the dynamic ones, need some options to alter there scenes in ways that would add more color or distinction beyond housing, paving and wall options. The Highlands would be great with wildflowers!!!!! Happy to help Scraps.

This struck me as hilariously funny after a hard day at work. Thanks for the laugh, TL!

    ~Flowers By Region~
I would like our flowers to have zones where they each thrive. If all POTs, cities and all areas have everything, then there's no need to travel anywhere, yet we do have a desire to have a color diversity within those places. The end product causes all places look very much the same, thus robbing the world from any diversity. Thus we need colors of our flowers to be a dynamic contrast of colors for each region, yet differing in their structure, especially if we are to have a flower market with products we can craft and trade from them. We could go the route of our flowers being meaningless other than as a colorful paint brush, yet that is the easy route which robs our game of an interesting feature it could have.

As if we took a protractor and compass, and then made zones of a particular species, any particular species could overlap another and provide those areas with colors of flowers they can work with, yet also cause a need to travel to retrieve others. Flowers that did not grow naturally within any area, could then be grown in that area by potting or within tended flower beds only.<---<<< this is all pending a harvest style market with differing products available for skilled play. If flowers are only for looks, I don't see any restrictions being necessary, yet I do feel we are missing something by having every flower everywhere growing naturally.

This brings up another sub subject of all this...

    ~Seasonal Flowers?~o_O
Will we have these? Do we want our flowers to be seasonal? Can our flowers be seasonal?
    I just don't know... :(
This seasonal issue could be better addressed after we know when our regional festivals will happen, which are suppose to be connected or prompted by our planets in the sky.

Deserts need seasonal flowers. One month they're bare, and the next month they burst with color. In SotA it rains quite frequently (though oddly enough there are no flash floods), so there is no excuse not to have desert blossoms.

Seasonal changes in the landscape -- if we don't get it by E2, I'll send nasty letters to the ombudsman. *shakes fist*
    - Wildflower blooms and blossoms on trees in Spring
    - Bare trees and snowfall in Winter
    - Colored leaves in Autumn

You know there was a reference to this in Ultima VII. There's a field of flowers north of Cove, and if you and your companions enter into it, everyone lays down and falls asleep.

Btw, poppy milk ie opium was used as a sedative in real life :D

What ? really. I love little things like that in games. I hope that after the launch when things settle down little stuff like that can be added to the game
