Will there ever be Bards?

--A quick search finds no answer to this question, although I have been away some months and not read all the relevant threads that MIGHT lead to an answer.
--Will there be Bards? As you might imagine, my UO Bard was my favorite. Slightly squishy, yes, with minimal melee abilities, and overall a rare bird as there weren't many. I guess that last point indicates the possible answer.
--A Bard adds a bit of uncertainty to a battle...

 

Nothing on this so far. I would like to see this added as a 'melee' skill line - a non-magical tree with a series of abilities (shouts, music, trickery, whatever) that provide a means of customizing melee builds for buffs and other effects outside of the magic trees. This would enable playing a non-magical rouge type character (like a bard). Perhaps pet / animal charming skills could go in a line like this too.
