Wyvern Speculation

    Anyone have any ideas about Wyverns coming next release?

    Any speculation on taming level requirement, summoning requirements, possible locations? The Ancient Obsidian Bear requires 137 taming, so should be expect these to be significantly higher?

    Anyone else as excited as I am?

    I want to go beat them up! I'm not doing any taming yet, but I am JUST hitting the high end of the game, because Hunting Trolls, like the Twins is an easy solo task for me, Xavara can also be done solo, but needs a bit more effort on my part. I want to know what the Wyvern Hunting will be like!

    As someone who is trying to RP a Dragoon, having tameable Wyverns is 1 step forward in the direction, so I am VERY happy about this!

    Ecstatic that wyverns are coming. But how big are they going to be? The size of the small dragons in the pet store?

    They should be small because if you summon them inside dungeons with narrow hallways, they would be clipping through walls and ceilings like crazy!

    Wow, that's extremely high. May just end up buying wyvern pets on player vendors when that happens. Good luck!

    Yes, I am Q&A testing. The 137 is in reference to The Ancient Obsidian Bear mentioned in the OP, which are located in Ruined Keep. I do not think that Wyverns have been implemented on the Q&A server yet.

    As long as we're speculating...

    The wyvern will require taming level 1, will be found in Brittany Alleys, and have three heads; one that breathes fire, one that shoots lasers from its eyes, and one that causes wyverns of the opposite sex who stare deeply into it to fall in love.

    There is a taming buff I think its 10 taming levels or so...

    Though I am a bit worried, they like everything else will have high hp but do the damage of a rabit all while costing half your focus pool. I hope im wrong very much so.
