    TGIF! I wanted to share a poem I recently wrote. Enjoy! And have a great weekend.


    You're Something Special


    An irresistible urge
    An overwhelming sensation
    Lost with a     kiss
    Your lips are my fixation
    A smile on your face
    Could     light up the room
    Lets get out of here
    For its you I want to consume

    I've had many first dates
    None booming with action
    One look at you
    I was engulfed with passion
    A twinkle in your     eye
    A dimple on your cheek
    You had the voice of an angel
    I myself could barely speak

    When I tell a joke
    I love to hear you giggle
    I've lived a difficult life
    But you make things simple
    I have everything I want
    No need to ask for more
    A     blessing I've been handed
    For a lifetime I will adore

    I wanted to write this poem
    I wanted you to understand
    You might have met me as a boy
    But you soon turned me into a man
    I guess what I want to say
    Without getting all sappy
    Is thanks for the best times
    And thanks for making me happy
