    I will work on that, but it's possible right now using Custom Marker Tool:

    1. Locate your lot on the map.
    2. Select [​IMG] Custom Marker Tool
    3. Click on the empty area of the map (you can't place Custom Marker on other active element like lot, POI, home...)
    4. Drag & drop custom marker on the selected lot
    5. Click on the [​IMG] Custom Marker to open popup
    6. Put some information like name, category, description
    7. Click on [​IMG] share button (copy/paste URL)

    Yeah. It would be great if developers could share with us such API.

    THIS will be available sooner than you can expect ;)


    I'm thinking about it all the time, but implement such things take time, which I prefer to spend on providing more content :( Donations are enough for now. If i will ever implement pay service it will be only for some extra features such as POT map editor.

    I can not imagine not having your map Jakub any more than I could drive across states in a car on earth without a map. I'm sure you have spent many hours on these maps so that we would have them. Thank you very much.

    All previous existing NPC Towns and PRTs maps updated.
    New towns maps added (except Skrekk amd Britannia).:

    Celestis is using the Island map above now too. Confused me when I went to place my town lot. Found a nice spot and got lost trying to find it when crunch time came. I ended up finding it in the dark and rain in time before anyone grabbed it.

    It would be a great idea if folks went to http://sotamap.com/ and sent a donation as appreciation of the hard work put into the maps. I already have and will continue to send monthly,so any amount I am sure would be appreciated.

    Add URL parameters for Search for Town Name to show Map Location idea (maybe zoom level too):

    @Jakub White, unless this already exists somehow ...

    ... is it possible to add a Search on the URL line to take someone to the position of a town on the overworld map (not go inside the town map with this search)?

    Functionally it is like doing the Search box for a town name and the map slides into place and shows the pop up data card for the town. Oh, could there be a zoom level parameter too so the map zooms in to certain levels?

    Perhaps the URL could be something like sotamap.com?search2=PaxLair&zoom=3 ( or use the map id in the search2, not the name. Name is better for usability if possible).​

    This will help us provide static URLs to friends and community to quickly find Town locations on the map.

    Add Communication Server as field for the Town data cards?

    Unless I missed a field already there, can you add a field so we can add at least one Communication Server URL link? (I know there is an external link, yet that is more for our web site).

    For example, a town (or several towns) may use a Discord server, or a TeamSpeak server. It can provide one-click access to find town communications hubs. Also, it starts to become a "white pages" to find all the comms servers.


    You could go so far as to make a Discord field like you did SotAWiki page link, and call it Discord so it preformats and launches the Discord address/client, etc. Not sure how all that works. Could add another one for TeamSpeak. If data is not filled in to one or both of those, then perhaps it is not shown on the pop up data card (i.e., only show when data is saved in those fields).


    I don't ask you to add the servers; just the field(s) so we the community can add them to our town listings and help other towns too.

    What do you and others think?
