    Greetings all, just a new pledge wandering through, with somewhat odd timing being in just before the upcoming wipe near the end of the month. I did manage to get my holiday hat however, and should be good to get a bit of a feel of things for the testing ahead post-wipe. I am hopeful to find an SoTa world with plenty of roleplaying and features supporting such, player housing that most players can achieve (without every stitch of possible land being swallowed up permanently, I am thinking perhaps new land added with episodes will help tame that), and a system not too gear/grind dependent. I've experienced the Ultima world previously to my enjoyment and look forward to what lies ahead, with skeptical reservations of course ;)

    Welcome, Aries. I am also new to the game and came in toward the end of the current release. Coupled with the fact that I'm about as casual of a gamer as there is, it's a miracle I got my Yule Hat before the wipe and Release 14. ;)

    Since this is my first time participating in pre-release gameplay (pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta), I'm really enjoying just taking my time, looking around, learning the mechanics, meeting people, sending the devs some thoughts, etc. It's been a great experience since this community and the devs are fantastic.

    Thanks for all the warm welcomes :) My avatar is "Albus" in game (though I tried to make a 2-name name, somehow it ended up with that, might stick with it after the wipe for R14 though if I can figure out how I did it...

    If you just started, did you get your Grand Tour Quest reward yet?

    We're holding an event on Saturday evening at 8 PM Central to help anyone who hasn't unlocked the Yule Hat for their accounts yet.

    Thanks! I did get my holiday hat for the tour, and helped another person I sort of recruited get it as well, but that will be a helpful event (I did have some difficulty in getting the tour completed, my ghost had to fetch my avatar back more than once ;). Thankfully the Mad Hermit's guide was a big help finding those tour guides hiding out in the rough!
