    Chris is working on filling out magic trees. Moon magic is next. Fire, air, and sun magic are the most developed.

    Working on making weapon/shield more balanced with two handed weapon.

    More Kobold areas and automatons coming. Also mine cart transportation in underground scenes. New kobold faction.

    These things are not present in the game. If the reason for doing things is only going to be added in by searching for artifacts and more challenging mobs, to me that is not enough reason to go someplace for the long haul. Eventually you'll get bored with searching artifacts and fighting mobs and want some substance to the game that keeps you coming back. I am talking about more reasons to come in the game. Can you go fish up a treasure map and hunt for treasure? To just throw artifacts and more mobs at us does not solve the missing content this game will experience. For example having something like pvp quests that give criminal points and place wanted posters on boards. For the quest grinders who love it will there be daily fishing quests and some special fishing quests, and crafting quests that teach us special things or just give solo playing type crafters something to do. Also an achievement system and work orders and task boards centrally located.

    I do not see these things coming in, these are typical game mechanics that give meaning to playing a game for so many players. I know there are many types of players and many will run out of reason to play quickly if the only reasons are artifact finding, challenging mobs, and finishing the story-line. There has got to be more for the mega gamer who will run through everything very quickly. Truly I want to bring back and bring in those solo players who love the reasons to play that are not all combat related, but exploration, crafting, fishing, perhaps treasure hunting. I want us to cover all bases before release and not to just get it done. That was never the promise. The promise was 'we will not release until you say it is ready to release' and to me it is not ready and will not be in 3 months unless at least some of these things start to be there. I am missing an achievement system for those who do not play on steam. @DarkStarr, @Lord British2, @Lum the Mad.

    Well, that's something that is badly needed.
    Look at me for example. On working days I have roughly 3 1/2 hours left to do what I have to and that includes my online time if I want to get enough sleep.

    2 year old son here after getting home - my online time is generally always cutting into my sleep :p

    I always enjoy the hangouts and hearing them describe systems, but the written word is much easier for consumption and digestion for me.

    Did they talk much about launch or current stage of the game? My questions were mainly around that topic but I only caught part of the stream and didn't see this discussed... was there any more than just 'Soon' ?

    I or preach actually asked them something along the lines of whrre the line is drawn between adding major core mechanics. They claim they are on last 20%, but that last 20% is the equivalent o the previous 80% im curious how much is too much to consider in that 20%.

    I cant agree more about treasure maps and such. Some repeatable goal, fun stuff.
    I imagine all that is last 20%, which is fine. But i hope * adding treasure hunting with random loot / scaling mobs bla bla * kinda mechanic isnt * beyond the ability to implement * in the last 20%.
    Dunno.
    Im hopeful at least, as critical as i am.
