10% summer pledge bonus, PoT upgrades eligible?

    So I'm assuming the answer is probably no although I was wondering if anyone had upgraded their PoT after this deal was announced and whether they got any store credit back?

    It would be very nice if it included PoT upgrades also ;)

    It does specifically state 10% Pledge Bonus, and not any purchase, so it would seem it is only for that. Hopefully Dallas can give a quick confirm though just in case. :D

    From a marketing perspective would it not make sense to do this at a different time?

    July - We had a pledge related announcement and 10% from pledge upgrades.

    You have other opportunities: Store Add-ons Announcement (can be subdivided to lots, houses, fences, whatever) - 10% bonus for store purchases, Stretch Goal Announcement - 10% bonus for stretch goals, POT Announcement - bonus for POT upgrades.

    For POT's I'd say this is the perfect time. Towns are being added as we speak and that may ramp up. Better to have the ability now, rather then after one's town is built, which would then incur a fee to change AFAIK.

    So yeah, to me, now is perfect.

    I think if anyone is on the fence regarding getting a town perhaps now is the time. We already have over 200 player owned towns and it was hinted to not having too many more in the hangout. I can't exactly remember the wording, but that's how I took it.:)

    My understanding of the latest update is that the total number of POTs hasn't been restricted yet, but only two more will be able to have overland map access. Other new POTs will have to be accessed through POTs which do have overland map access. And the 10% bonus now applies to POT purchases as well.
