Add-On Store is not visitor friendly

    As Christmas is a great time for family and friends to purchase gift cards, I figured I would send them this way to buy Gift Coupons. Unfortunately, I didn't test this well before I did.

    The Add-On Store requires users to sign in before they can purchase. My aunt, who has no interest in games in any fashion, sent me an email asking me how this works. She could sign up and get emails about a game she has no interest in. I suppose I could let her sign in to my account and send me a gift. Or she could skip it. So she is sending me a prepaid Visa instead.

    To help generate some more direct sales, could the Add-On Store have the "Send this as a Gift!" option enabled even for those who are not logged in?

    (On a related matter, could we get the popup functionality like on the Pledge Store page to send people directly to a specific Add-On? That would be useful.)

    Wanted to bring this up again. It's my birthday tomorrow, and I still can't ask family for SotA credits due to this. I really hope this can be changed before launch/Christmas...

    This is still a great idea that even if it is on @Dallas 's backlog list, it should be considered again.

    Mostly wanted this not to get forgotten; it would be a lot easier to get gifts, and bring in more funds for the game, if family didn't need to register.
