Can't get off Solace Bridge

i died in the opening quest. I am trying to get off bridge and all Evard says is "Where is young Charlotte? You should not leave a child alone in this place. "

I can not take the boat or go any where. Help...I am so frustrated!!

 

Celtic, it's been a while since I've done Solace Bridge but I'm happy to assist.

Are you still a ghost (dead)? If so, look for a resurrection ankh. It might show on your compass at the top of your screen as an ankh symbol. If you go to the ankh, you will be resurrected and able to continue.

If you are alive but can't find Charlotte, look in the house where you entered the area...

I'll watch here to see if you're still having problems.

 

I have tried that. I have resurrected, check house, logged out, search area, redone battle a bridge, searched all bodies, only to have same thing happen and remain struck.

 

Did charlotte give you a whistle? If so, drag it on your out of combat bar and summon her.

I also want to point out the Tutorial needs and is getting an overhaul.
Its absolutly awful, and almost everyone seems to have problems with it first time.

Dont let it fool you, once you get through it, the game is so.. so much better.

 

Mr Blight is absolutely true! I was cussing out the tutorial most effectively when I started. Once you get thru on the other side, it gets much better.

 

Also a friend was having problems with the intro. I also haven't done it for a while but what he had to do as well since he did let Charlotte die, was just make sure he killed all the skeletons on the bridge, and so sorry for your frustration. This beginning scene needs much work. I feel for you. After you kill the skeletons you should be able to take the boat. I am Majoria in game. I'd be happy to help anytime.

 

Note that since you've not left Solace Bridge you can delete the character and restart without consequences (other than lost time), if you've got into a bugged state just reset everything.

 

@Celtic Moon As Ravalox already told ya, in your case, you have to use the Summon Charlotte Gray Call from your Inventory to summon Charlotte each time your Avatar dies in the Solace Bridge Tutorial.
