Crystal Sword

So you all paid extra money for a sword that has one use and it’s gone? LOL! Secondly, a sword shaped like that is not even feasible nor could it ever be used in battle. Look at the sun flares the one going right done the middle of the hilt. Good luck in real life trying to hold or grip that sword. Yes, it’s a game, but realistically this sword is a joke. In terms or look, feel and the Absolut absurdity of one time usage.

Yea, I know I’ve played all of those games in the past and know all about the sword. My point is, why would anyone spend money just to have this worthless virtual item? Yes, so what, you can kill anything with one hit. But as someone else stated earlier, most are not going to use it because of its limited usage. So it’s virtually a virtual item that wastes space and sits in the inventory doing nothing.

Some people love to collect items and as many as they can. It adds to the decor of their house. Also it is invaluable for role play purposes.

 

It is part of the founder rewards for backing early. No one paid extra for this sword. I think it is very cool and will be proud to display it on my mantle in-game.

 

Well, I'm fortunate enough to have enough money that I can be frivolous.
As long as I'm entertained, I don't much care what you think of the virtual items I buy.

That is what most of us who have it spent money on. Not the sword. In fact I had already pledged before they announced the crystal sword, so it was an added bonus. That tier also came with 2 unique other weapons that don't get destroyed upon use, and many other in game items... plus contributing to a game that the more we contribute, the better it will be.

 

or as i do in fire emblem, toss the crystal bow in the garbage! lol. there was soo many uo items i would toss away and then they became rare! Now I horde everything and my sota house will need to be cleared when i'm gone with hazmat suits because i'm going to have 85 cats, 200 fur rugs and 500 empty bottles.

 

Back in my day, this is what our breakable sword looked like, and we liked it! Uphill! Both ways!

 

Maybe you should wait till you have more than 4 messages posted before coming out swinging at the fan base.

Now that I think of this crystal sword business. I'd like to suggest that the crystal sword once broken some how gets back into the loot table from rare monsters. Maybe a filthy kobold picks up the pieces and remakes it with their dark magics. It would keep the number of swords at a rare number but allow them to change hands once in a while. Crazy?

 

It's not that we have a different opinion. It's when somebody calls others stupid if they have a different opinion.

 

I'd hope we have a broken version that is also ornamental, junk, but you can still use it as decoration so you can show people the sword that slew that epic dragon in one swing.

 

Maybe so, but as for me, my feelings aren't so easily bruised.

Excuse me Frank, but I never once called any of you stupid. In fact what I said was that the item being what it is absurd. But not once did I call any of you stupid. So don’t put words in my mouth. My whole argument is about a virtual item and how pathetic it is and serves no real purpose in the game. Bragging rights? So what, I’d rather have a mount that is at least useful or a weapon that I can use for several levels. Not a show piece that utterly lame.
