e RPaid for early access, then cant load game . please help

    i paid $40 to have access to the game. then went to down load , extract and update. ..and get the error message that the update failed . . "cant write outside the directory" . . .tried to "Retry" . .. same result. . then tried to " Force Launch " . .same result. . ..so

    . . . i have paid for what i have not got. . .


    Can any one help me , Please. .

    I will also report your post, OP, it will help moderators to move it and maybe bring some dev attention to it.

    For everyone, Berek also suggested that reporting could be used for this, in the r35 postmortem, so don't be afraid to hit that report button! It's fun!

    The only problems I came across is, that I get the message that it fails to load. What I do is restart my comp and try again. Also when you get a white screen for a little while saying failed loading, but just wait a little while and it will then load.

    My advice: Link your account to steam an install/patch from there. You can still run the game indipendet from steam, but installing and updating works far better, easier and faster using steam.

    I can vouch for this, it made downloading updates and making sure the game installed correctly much easier for me.

    Thanks for getting the game, so sorry to hear about the access issue :(. We'll figure it out!

    How are you installing the game, via Steam or elsewhere? It sounds like Steam given the $40 amount. Does it complete installation, it just won't update properly?
