Fine Oak Furniture

The fine oak furniture that appears in the Add-On Store today is amazing, and I'm sure I'll be picking up a set this weekend. However, this one really stole the show:



Holy cow, that is gorgeous! I'm not sure how I'll afford it, but I have to use these as the showroom cases in my shop! Great looking pieces, guys!

Didnt see them pop up, thanks for the notice, picked up the pack... fill up yet another room of the millions I have lol.

 

They do look good. but im ehhh about them since they are not crafting recipes. As someone who has wanted to be a furniture crafter in game since I pledged over two years ago, everytime I see new cool looking furniture in the store, I get pissed. I know Sota needs new money incoming but it still pisses me off. At least the craftable furniture they added this release was pretty good as well and not the generic schtuff us furniture usually get. So that took a little of rhe sting out of it.

 

Hopefully they will break apart the set and sell some of the individual items, like bookcases!

 

Just a question.... When did we get Oak?

 

i thought some of the items were to be craftable...just not the "FINE" quality as the add on store

 

They're nice enough, but I don't know... they just feel very modern. I just wonder sometimes if the game is losing a sense of setting and style.

 

It would be nice if they'd do a split where "ornate" was add-on store items, and "fine" was in-game craftable items, so that crafters stop getting the short end of the stick on everything. I.e., there should be at least 3 tiers for furniture items. Top end (ornate) from the store. Midtier (fine) craftable at higher skill levels, and the basic stuff anyone can build.

 

That's what I was wondering. I'm curious how the carved oak crafting recipes work.

 

I'd assume it will use pine or maple currently, and eventually other wood will come online. Recipes can be adjusted.
