    Correct. No need to be by the corpse. Just target yourself, and res before the expiration in any safe location.

    Dont leave the zone or ull lose the pet, as said above you dont even need to find the corpse.

    I don't know if it's just for reward pets. Next time your pet's carcass vanishes before you can resurrect it, take a look at the whistle; if it has "resurrectable" somewhere in the tool-tip then you can revive your pet with Resurrect Creature.
