Full loot PVP and stuff

Didn't I just answer this? Equal distribution of nodes does not equal balance. Equal opportunity does.

Asking for balanced distribution does not always mean equal opportunity. If you can't see this then maybe some "wait and see" is in order. (meaning, I can't explain it to you so maybe the devs can, when they post their details)

only in the most basic form, being a quest giver giving out a quest to someone to go to a pvp zone and kill another player. Fairly limiting if you ask me.

 

Giving a non-PvPer a reason to enter a PvP area adds mroe depth to a non-PvPer's game by creating and option to. Since the risk is higher, there would be fitting rewards.

Having equal rewards in PvP and Non-PvP areas is the same as having the same reward for completing a newbie quest vs completing a difficult veteran quest.

If the rewards are equal, reguardless of the difficulty of the area, why ever go to that area at all.

PvPers and PvEers are more diverse than just PvE or PvP.

there are a great deal of PvEers that enjoy the risk of being attacked by others to score some nice loot. There re PvEers who dont care as much about loot as they do an adventure/RP etc. There are PvE Min-Maxers who want all the best stuff and to be as powerful as possible but never want to be at risk of being killed by another player (and they dont have to in this game fromw hat i understand)

As for PvPers, there are hardcore PvPers who just want to fight other people all the time and/or rack up kills. There are PvPers who also RP, Anti-PKs who like to PvP but prefer to protect weaker or non-pvp individuals than kill them, and PvPer's who enjoy having an immersive goal for thier PvP efforts.

Theres also a whole bunch of folks who like to mix PvE with PvP or do both.

If PvP and PvE were totally segregated and there was absolutely no reason for them to ever mix at all, It would take away alot from most of these playstyles. WHile giving them reasons to willingly mix it up (Like territory, resources, etc) gives most of these playstyles more depth and still gives hardcore PvPers and hardcore PvEers the option of not having to get involved with each other.

As far as the resources go, these resources beign mroe abundant in PvP areas doesnt give PvPers more money, and it doesnt deny PvEers thsoe materials. People wills ell these materials and PvEers will be competative witht he PvPers, and the PvPers will be competaative with each other which should stabilize prices.

You should be able to get every material in the game as long as someone is selling it, and if its beign sold, you can convert your gold into materials.

 

We could also add those who also might flag for PvP for the added excitement that having a dangerous world provides, but doesn't actively seek out PvP. This could be like the many of the players of early UO. They only PvPed when they found themselves in a bad situation and are attacked by a PK and they make a run for it. Some people may just like the thrill of an unexpected ambush.

Does anybody use that hand gesture anymore? I'm willing to bet the people born in the mid to late 80s and later have no idea what that symbol means. And how do you google a hand gesture? That generation will have lost something wonderful.

FYI this hand gesture means something different in other countries... great way to offend Brazilians.

Considering that Chris said he would release information regarding this, what, almost four weeks ago and still hasn't, there wasn't much left to discuss that wasn't already fleshed out.
