Hi guys, new here and really enjoying the game.. hopeing someone out there can help me for a second..

Just crafted a load of meteoric iron ingots thinking.. yet lets get rid of my iron stuff (found some mines with loads of iron.. made my day finding them! then saw nickel and tungsten dropping!)

Buy just realized I dont have the recipe for the meteoric metal sheets.. and now realized i cant even buy it... has anyone got one sitting in their bank that i could buy for a fair price? Been running from town to town checking player markets (now i've worked out how they work) but no one is selling one.

ty! i'll head over and try to find it. Totally in love with the game.. bringing back fond memories of playing asherons call as a kid!

BTW I just found my first recipe drop from the mines near Eceteer (sp?).. there were two chests near the bandit that gave me the black iron ore. Weird thing was when i went back later to loot the chests again they gave me the same 2 recipes... I repeated this maybe 5 times and now have 5 recipes for tempest and sorcery gems...

are the recipe drop locations static? I would have expected the recipes to be random drops (hence until i saw your post Lained I was worried i may never get the recipe for meteoric iron sheets).

or are all the other recipes random drops and only these 2 static?

Those two in particular are static. Most recipe drops are random. But those have always been in those chests since I can remember

 

strange selection of static recipes but i shouldn't complain... i've two recipes now that i didn't have a day ago

just found out you can reteach a load of the recipes.. anyone got any they can teach me? i'll pay for the privilage just let me know what you want... cheaper than buying from the shop!

There is a ton of stuff you can just discover on your own. Just need to know the exact number of items.

just out of curiosity.. which of the player run towns are important to know about? Just noticed New Haven is mentioned a lot (and finally found it!) are there any other POTs that I should know about and use... market places ect?

 

Most of the "market Towns" are in a sort of market alley going south from Britt central there is Novia Market, Britt Mart, Crafter's Town being some, if not THE largest ones you come across first along that direction, but there are plenty others advertised on Forum and Discord as well as other town types(RP, Guild Towns, New Player housing etc)

 

Welcome aboard Tolnor; Britt Mart is a great place to shop, in the last street from the entrance on your right you will find a row lot with a vendor named pirate sales. I have several crafting recipes there all listed for 1k. Have fun in Novia and just be careful with pirates. R/Boris/El Pirata/Black Sails Forever.

Welcome @tolnor . I manage wizards rest with the governor Baldrith. It's a beautiful snowy Biome located on the cliff behind Owlshead in hidden Vale. I have placed game tips all over town and on the bulletin board.

Player towns are also places you can place your free lot deed once you get it. I am also happy to teach you recipes anytime you like and if course no charge ever from me.

If you need a place to stay you are very welcome at my Inn which is also never a charge. Lots in Wizards Rest are set to claimable with your lot deed with no need to ask permission.
