Sir Asguard is dead
Long live the Lord, High Baron Asguard
condolence and congratulations.
I am confused, are you Lord or Baron? Either way grats!
High Baron always sounds like it should be ranked higher than Baron. Or at least that it should be considered more of an adjective.
And while we're on the subject, Royal Founder Lords can have a title of "Baron" if they wish, but it's in green and not gold. I hope when Episode 2 comes out they have a new title of Low Baron in purple that outranks everyone. That would be marvelously confusing.
But it's nice to meet you, High Baron Asguard. Even if it's at Sir Asguard's funeral. Cheer up though, now when you move to Lord Marshall we'll all know what to expect!
Does this reflect a pledge or just a promotion? Confused - wish I had the title list handy! Either way, remember that your behavior has to improve befitting a noble of higher rank...
Grats. Still low born though!!
Yay, so happy for me, um I mean you.
1 less vying for village property.
Congrats. I hope all you rich bastards are giving more to charity than you are to SotA.
The Thiefs , coming later episodes, congratulate you and have noted your name, title and estimated wealth in their black books.
And the rest say thank you contributing further money to development of the game.
High Baron is the title that Royal Founder Lords can choose!
Congratulations on your upgrade!!
The reasons for this was explained ages ago, and the title for someone at the "Baron Pledge level" is Count, Viscount or Earl depending on which Baron level you are.
I am FAR from rich and I give my time on a weekly basis to St John Ambulance providing health services to the community for free (This week I have 2 events, plus 1 day of training and 4 hours last night after I finished work at a meeting for them, all volunteer)
What about "Baron"?
I always thought Viscount sounded really cool.
Ironically enough only Founder "Barons" can be called Baron
I´m fine with this, though
I approve! Congrats!
According to the pledge store, the title for a benefactor Lord is "Baron". Which I wonder, might be a typo? Since, you know, a BARON should have the title "Baron".
No its not, when Benefactors were first being discussed by Darkstar (don't have a link to the thread sorry) a lot of people were pointing out mistakes to them in the nobility hierarchy, namely Lord is a generic form of address not a rank and Baron is the lowest level of nobility. Therefore they utilized this time to fix this so that the ranks went:
High Baron (both "Lord" level)
Earl (Baron level, various)
Duke (Duke level)
"Archduke", "Prince", "Princess", or "Highness"
“Grand Duke” and "Lord of the Manor" (LOTM)
What they couldn't do is go back retrospectively and change the names of the pledge levels, kickstarter wouldn't let them do that
Separate names with a comma.
