I deleted my character and create a new one to test all the new stuff in SotA from beginning (like i do it every release).

So, create a new character ...
    Okay ... No Character-Creation ...
    No Problem ...

    ... Loading-Screen ...

Startet as a ghost at the Isle of Storms ...
I'm very transparent and nearly complete invisible ... (please change!)
I have to go to a mirror ...

    ... Loading-Screen ...

Ah! Here i can create my character ...
Nice idea, but the loading screens sucks ;)
    Ready with creating?

    ... Loading-Screen ...

And now? I think i go back to Arabella ...

And there it is! She does not understand me!!
    I know she's a woman and i'm a men and there are worlds between us ... ;)

I tried it so many times but she don't want to understand "love" or "lovingly" or when I click on the text.
I abort, start a new try, delete my character, try again and again and again ...
Sometime she understand and i could continue to the next question, but then: "I'm sorry, I do not understand ..." again!

Thats not a Bug-Report, thats Feedback!
    Feedback, that Arabella needs a Hearing-Aid ;)
And a Feedback, that the loadingscreens are to much and sucks! Realy!

I love the Isle of Storms and the design of the scene and the idea with the mirror ...
But can you include the character-creation into the scene, so there's no extra loading-screen?
And the new depth-blur-effect is ugly! I nearly get a heart-attack when entering with my old character ... ;)

More i can't say to R31, because Arabella does not unterstand "love"!

Arabella is not the only one who does not understand ...
After hundrets of attempts i finished all three questions from her and start in Solace Bridge. I was very curious becaus of the changes in Solace Bridge. And it starts great! I love these scene also, the design and the (re)work on it, the flames, the sparks. But the Child also does not understand me ... :(

Are you playing using English or a localized language? (Edit: nope, that's not it... just completed the tutorial in German successfully using the latest live build)

Arabella, Charlotte and Edvard all have extremely short attention spans. If you don't click their response immediately (like, within a second), they don't understand. Finally got through all of them after MANY attempts last night. But once we got to Soltown, everything seemed to work fine again.

We're trying to track this down using logging on live, since we can't reproduce any of this behavior locally.

I was in offline mode, if that matters (also running in windowed mode). But from what others have said, I think its universal. After coming back from the mirror, we talked to Arabella, clicked through to start the test, and clicked "Lovingly", which worked, and then "Love", at which point she went to not understanding. Said "ready to begin" again, same results (the answers did not seem to matter). Finally said "ready to begin" again and rapid-fire clicked answers, and it worked.

Same types of things for Charlotte. She didn't want to reply, so we went downstairs then back up, and got the tooltip to double click her to talk once again. Used up arrow to have "yes" on the chat box, double clicked, hit enter twice, and finally got past that section.

With Edvard, he wouldn't respond until we had gone down to kill most of the undead and got the tooltip that we cant leave without Edvard. Went back and said "ready" and he finally decided to go fight (although he didnt join the group, like Charlotte did).

Hope that helps. If you want us to try anything specific, I can do that when I get home.

We've managed to isolate the problem and will have a fix going up shortly.

For now, to get conversations to work, please ensure "Enable Conversation Close-Ups" is ON. This bug only occurs when the option is OFF.

Ah, yeah I turned that off a long time ago. Thanks Lum!
