I recall that I read someplace that there was some reason why they changed this - Log out inside your house. Log in and you are standing in front of your house.

I've never been an Immersion Nazi, but I have to say that this one *really* breaks the immersion. It is the "change" that I like the least about R17.

Is there some hope of fixing this in the future? So that if we log out in our living room, we will "wake up" in our living room?

Well, I find this better, as decorations load after you enter the game and I often ended burried in wardrobe or cabinet:D

Well, you could log out in the road in front of your house then. :p

I have to agree with Raven on this. It is very disconcerting to log out in my home and to log back in in the street front of my house. It is also frustrating when I go into my basement (which the entrance is inside my home) and when I zone out I am again, outside my house in the street. I am also not a fan though I tolerate zoning to my home and finding myself in the street. I would prefer to be at the very least at my doorstep. Really don't like this aspect of R17. I have never found myself buried in a wardrobe or cabinet. Maybe your one of those folks that likes a messy cluttered home that looks like it belongs to a hoarder? Not sure tbh but something to consider.

I see that some people still do not know me and my homes and can easily miss the joke.

Yes it is quite funny to come out of your basement and be on the street outside your house, well also strange. Hopefully they can fix it so this doesnt happen. When I come out of my basement I'd like to be in my house if my basement hatch is in my house, but if its not possible, then I will just live with it.:)

I'm with you, Raven.... I hope this isn't a permanent change, as it does seem pretty silly for us to land out in the street when we log in.
The dev's have lots of work to do that's more important, but I do hope that this can be fixed at some point.

Agree with Raven. This is a pain to end up outside the house every time you log in. Would you like to wake up every morning in someone else's bed. Part of the point of making the house private is to not have to deal with people outside the house when you are working on something and do not want to be disturbed. Besides if they do go to town invasions, I'd hope I would be safe in side my house when I log in and not be put out on the street.

I hadn't even thought about *that* one, Gamician!

Soooo.... We have to go to bed (more or less) in what - our city clothes - 'cause when we wake up, we'd not want to be standing out in the street in our freekin' skivvies....

The main problem behind this is, that you can't zone anyone on items. I'm not sure in which release they removed the option to zone someone on a houseroof or wardrobe. You started sinking through and the item was loaded later so you could end up in items. If they fix this issue, they could give us back the option to land on lots. /zone will go soon but they talked about giving us perhaps the /summon command. So this issue needs to be addressed.
