Melee Mob HP Increase is Ridiculous

    Add buff KEI 3 please!! ( old EQ reference for anyone that played a caster, knowing the down time between 2-3 mob fights was a good 5 mins or more without the Enchanter buff to increase Regen)

    Well, about that, i just take the time to loot corpses, harvest a nearby tree or a cotton node... and by then, my focus is restored, so i don't feel the downtime. :D

    But i guess that's because my playstile hehe. Didn't try adding food yet, it may help.

    There doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency in how this was applied. I'm seeing some melee mobs that had hps increased by about 20% and some that over doubled in hps. I also haven't noticed a dramatic reduction in mage/archer hps, but I haven't been to that many zones yet.

    Do you use aestheric feedback? My focus regen downtime is pretty quick since they added that.

    Very nice change, definitely makes the squishies less squishy, albeit still squishable.

    I do not at all. But now there are areas I will avoid that before I was able to enter . So no I am not happy.

    Yea not a fan of the HP increase for the melee mobs. Any chance you could make them hit for less than they are right now?

    I was worried at first, thinking I was going to have to change my playstyle completely. So far it hasn't been too bad. I've had to avoid more enemies than usual but it hasn't set me back too much.

    Just played and personally, I think they ramped up combat difficulty WAY too much! Having to stop after one or two yellow, mid level fights to catch my breath and regenerate focus and health is tedious, slow and not at all fun. I know some elite, multiple GM avatars were complaining about not being challenged but don't punish us all for that. Maybe add some 6 skull areas or creatures beyond red for those who wish a challenge - but I don't like where they've taken the difficulty level at all.

    Am I the only one that thinks just adjusting HP and damage of NPCs is not good for immersion?

    How about new harder monsters (and weaker ones in some instances)

    It's definitely not just you. i hope the devs address this asap. For the first time,I'm actually not enjoying playing because of this change.

    Why does HP have to be an aggregate abstraction of armor bonuses, stat bonuses, resistances plus health of the mob because that's what it seems like increased HP is for an NPC? Plus, I still don't buy @Chris explanation that mobs actually using focus is something that would be exploited by player characters. Why is HP something different for the player? Why can't they be separate things factored in the same way it is for PCs?

    Also getting the same drops from a lesser mob. Drops are the same regardless of color or size of hp

    I like how they are forcing casters into cloth (okay, that makes sense, I suppose) but at the same time making fights last 4x as long. So now we are at no focus at the end of a fight and clinging onto dear life. I now fight once, tab out to Facebook, come back one regen happens, fight again, tab out to Twitter, repeat.

    My poor water elemental. His healing skills have to be GMed from me playing just today alone.
