    So one of my guilty pleasures has been catching up on seaosn 5 and 6 of Scandal .. (don't judge I watch the new star trek too). Scandal has a great sound track with the shows from grandmaster flash to nina simone, but they tend to play how I am supposed to live without you you with Michael Bolton more than once which makes me roll my eyes, because of all the versions Laura Brannigan to me is the superior one.

    Its not my fav song by her, but on the day of her death, I walked into a meeting with some consultants I had been working with for months, who immediately said omg I am so sorry about your idol dying. (To me this is Pat Benatar and I started freaking a bit on the inside and logged in my laptop to thankfully see it was not Pat, but was also saddened it was Brannigan)

    Before Celine, we had Laura Brannigan. Today, Adele. For me she captures some of Laura's spirit, but hers is a raspy sound where Brannigan was this bellowing throaty sound we have not so far seen the like. So long story short, today I was thinking about all these things and looked up some Brannigan on you tube and settled on this one as a fav for today. Its a song title me and an ex you to say to each other. Good song.

    Hahhah forgot about this video .. its still her voice I like, but this video is kinda funny. RIP Laura Brannigan. (not to mention cool lyrics .. "like a wild bird of prey, like a thief in the night")

    The enemy port subdued and the owners dragged out to the docks. The pirate questions the poor about their treatment and sees their displeasure. He looks at the town owners as they lie to save their lives to no avail. He follows the policy of truth and barks out the order: "Hang Them".

    Sigh sot sick of a VP that is that by title and no clue on sdlc .. I think I want to find a new job ... having a bad day which may lead to other opps. Feeling unloved by a wanna be sdlc comp I been trying to build.



    This would likely mean more play time with less despair!
