This is a great place to live. Excellent crafting hall, community garden, lots of space. Nick and Cianna are great.

But that is why I find this game so exciting. As long as the complexity is intuitive and follows the technique of delivering micro dopamine it will be a winner. In my opinion it will and is why I am investing time in the game.

Great thread btw, Nick and Cianna. It's players like yourself that make games like this great.
I shall check out your town and guild, although I do have a lot of offers right now and realise that a new player has a lot of hard choices to make.

@firesparx: if you are still looking for a home I can support you. I can offer a time limited rent free row house in Ardoris (will need it "later", but for sure not in the next say 3 months), time limited rent free row in a POT (near Brittany) or an unlimited row or village POT where you have to pay the game tax (I do not ask for a rent for the lot/deed/house). Please PM me if interested.

 

I decided to take up @Cianna on her generous offer and ended up joining her guild, Order of the Forest Dwellers. Although the cynical part of me expected to be held kidnap by a mad order of tree dwellers.

All I can say is if you like the forest, hate Kobolds and want to hang with a bunch of mature, very nice folk who will help you along, Then Aelasar's Forest is for you.

At the very least it will help you find your feet quickly and you can move on, however you can stay and benefit further. I have decided to stay as I like the vibe. There are a few writers in the guild and it's a craft heavy crowd. If you are hard core into PvP it's prolly not the place, but it can give you a start.

Plus, the location is one jump from Britanny Central, which has some advantages.

I've bought in sale in the store the house "Pristine Gothic Mansion 3-Story with Widow's Walk Village Home". I'm still in the Blood River Massacre place looking for a mirror then I can get in the game. I'm new to the game and I don't really know how housing works. I'd be happy to get any help from you.

Welcome to the game! To put it simply, for housing you require 2 things.

1. the lot deed, which allows you to claim a lot. (which you might not have)
2. the house deed, which is what you have right now. You cannot place a house without a lot.
