New wall map of Novia

I don't play as much in Linux and part of the reason is lack of map. I would really like to see the in game map added
to Linux. Part of the reason I did not stop at a $40 pledge was your support of Linux.

Yes, I think it ugly as well. I suspect it was done to distinguish the pledge reward from an upcoming Add-On and/or craftable.

Or maybe they are bringing out a new map and have to distinguish between the two? I would not put that past em

 

Our apologies for this. Honestly this was not what I requested and I am just now seeing this (too many moving parts this release at over 20 pages of content).

I noticed that the frame that the map was in looked exactly like the frame we use for a bunch of other items so I asked that we add the virtue symbol to it in a small and subtle way to make the framing unique for this time. Obviously this is NOT small and subtle AND it extends the footprint of the frame therefore breaking existing deco placement.

We WILL fix this. My apologies.

I honestly don't think it needs any changes from what it is in R49 (other than updating the map itself).

 

I like the colors (I get the map may need to be updated to reflect current map) of the new map, and like the border of the old map.

 

I liked the map just the way it was.

 

Hooray, the decoration has been removed and replaced by a virtue symbol etched into the bottom of the frame. I'm glad the devs reacted to feedback on this issue! The map is perhaps not important to the overall game, but because of its size, beauty and significance as a pledge reward, it is prominently placed in many homes and is one of the best decoration items in the game in my opinion.
