(The elevator doors close, and Asugard is left alone with kobolds)
Asguard: This deal's getting worse all the time...
(The doors open again, revealing the DEVS holding decks of cards)
DEVS: Furthermore, we wish you to PvP using these cards in a random order !

(DEVS leave again. Asguard is left holding decks of cards)
Asguard: This deal's getting worse all the time!
(DEVS reappear and produce a Fishing Pole of Prosperity)
DEVS: Here is a Fishing Pole. You will carry it wherever you go.
Asguard: What?! I'm not ruuing around with a "bleep bleep" fishing pole!
DEVS: We have altered the deal. Pray we don't alter it any further.
(DEVS leave again)
Asguard: THIS DEAL IS GETTING WORSE ALL THE TIME!!!
(DEVS once again return holding SotA T-Shirts)
DEVS: Also, you are to wear this T-Shirt and refer to yourself as "Dame Lori".
(The kobolds laugh. Asguard grabs a T-Shirt and tosses it away, hitting a kobold on the head)
Asguard: Ah, "bleep bleep" you, man! I'm not doing it!
DEVS: We have altered the deal. Pray we don't alter it any further.
(DEVS leave yet again)
Asguard: THIS DEAL...(He thinks for a moment and looks around)...is very fair, and I'm happy to be a part of SotA.

 

Can i still left/right click bash my opponent? (that was really all i was worried about) but it did look clean and workable thier card flipping system! Ill take back anything i ever said about card games (after i play it to make sure) I did enjoy your sarcastic rant though very entertaining!

I haven't had much time to follow the debates of late but just sat down and watched the Update of the Avatar - 11/01/2013 and feel the need to say "Devs, you're doing it right, keep doing more of that." But in the context of this thread, I don't mean more of awesome housing and village/town design, but rather, as much or more effort applied to combat.
Personally I've never been big on card games but I'm very much drawn to the rationale RG expounded and I'm excited to try it out. So Devs, don't take this praise for the latest update and relax - work your ass off to do even better with the combat system. Or else...
