wow - if that was by design then that will be one of the rarest emotes in the game.

It's teachable thankfully.

 

Wow, that was fast! Tele to me if you want to learn it, but you won't be able to teach it to others.

 

That was really fast. I can also teach it if needed.

 

It's a good thing I ran there on Friday to get it for the DS dance party.

Yes, it was supposed to be limited. I don't remember where (perhaps the release notes?), but I definitely remember reading that it would be a limited opportunity.

 

They should have gave more days imo, 30 days or something like that.

 

Yeah that did seem awfully fast to me. Thankfully though it is teachable, find me if you need it, meow. (NOT re-teachable, though).
I'm a "patch day checklist" player, but shame for folks who hadn't gotten 'round to it yet, I feel these things should at least stick around for the duration of the release.

 

Six (or was it five? one of my alts didn't get it this morning) days was a bit on the tight side, especially for people who had IRL reasons to not be able to play much this past weekend. But I got it on my main.

I was hoping for at least one full week.

 

I did the quest last night, and was not awarded the emote... and that was before 772 was released, so it's not clear to me when they actually removed it from the game as a reward. It was before they said, though.

 

Five days is very limited.

" Tenebris Harbor: Tenebris Harbor was once a thriving shipbuilding town on the coast of the Bay of Storms in the South Paladis region west of Jaanaford. The town has recently been overrun by plunderers who have ransacked and burned down whole sections of the town. For the first few days of the release, parts of the town will be on fire and the bodies of the residents will litter the streets but soon those fires will go out, the bodies will get cleaned up, and the town will settle into the long-term plundered and ruined state. This is a Tier 5 scene, so be prepared for a challenge! An old prospector will reward players who help him find something precious for him, while another quest rewards players with the Blessing of Elusiveness.

/oldprospectordance: This jovial new folk dance can be obtained for a very limited time in Tenebris Harbor (see Story section above).

Lucky Nugget: Learn the new /oldprospectordance in Tenebris Harbor from Zan, the old prospector for a limited time as Zan may not be around forever (prospecting is a hard life after all). "

I took them at their word, and got mine the first day......

 

Many people here have asked for rewards with limited time availability (just like telethon ones). There is an inherant problem with this. Fortunately, they have been smart and made the emote teachable. But now that the quest is not available anymore, the nugget should not be a quest item anymore as well @Lum the Mad : it should be a decoration

 

I think it may have been a ninja patch. Notice that 771 was skipped. I think when that happens it usually means a back-end-only patch happened.

 

Removing something like this w/o alerting the community in advance is bad form. I had every reasonable expectation of being able to complete it prior to 772 and get the related reward.

 

I'm the only one who thinks five days is too short period of time? Lot of people had no idea and able to play only 1-2 days in a week. Plz @DarkStarr consider to add the previous state of the scene for at least two weeks.
