Most likely, I would think.
I knew the Ratio was 4:1, but his post made me do silly math way too early...Confused my own bad self! Bad Themo....
I think so but that doesn't solve things for Row lot deeds since they fill their space.
Also If the Row lots must face outwards from the designated 40x60 flat spaces then they are all going to be in the 90' streets and avenue grid we see in Ardoris.
Ya, it would be difficult with row lots, being that they are bundled. But a row house on a village lot would work, or more even when flexible placement comes in being you could put multiple structures on an individual lot.
For the love of god i have changed the row lot sizes on maps over and over due to people telling me different dimensions!
Psst in case of doubt go to the source...(or ask Spoon).
Wait, my measurement on my layouts are right .. *brainfart*
No, our original design had a lot of that, like Spoon's example above. We had to change it for this system and put up with the "boxiness" of it.
As of right now, I highly doubt that will change.
That's a cool proposal. I guess I would like some of that too. I also want to get the full allocation of lot space too.
Hey if i did this, would it better suit your needs? (this is to scale)
Just to be clear, if anybody wants me to makes changes to a template i have posted so it suits their needs also, let me know and i will try.
In my response I assumed that Rav was referring to the stretch goal, not POT layouts.
I was referring to the stretch goal yes.
KK Stand corrected.
Changed the Dragons Watch template so it can be used for a few other peoples designs.
Think of it as the area not the length of the sides and it gets easier to follow
A row lot is 10x15 or 150 square meters
A village lot is 20x30 or 600 square meters
150x4 = 600
Or go in game and step it out yourself! You're a big boy Themo. ;-) That's why we love you.
I am really loving your maps, by the way. They are quite inspiring.
I look forward to see how all the extra flat spaces not assigned lots are 'filled in' in the game.
We are getting close to our final configuration of housing lots for R17 and Episode 1. They will be the same configurations.
Here is a NO TEXT version of what PaxLair could look like in R17 and beyond.
As of April 7, 2015 - PaxLair Lot Selections (sub-divisions)[does not show the Template City Lots and Template Water Lots not used] Sean Silverfoot will be working with this copy to create lot numbers, so he can allocate lot assignments to the many people willing and wanting to participate in the R17 Roll-Out. The R17 Roll-Out Plan is published and discussed on another thread here. I GREATLY appreciate everyone's interest and help in this. I think we will all significantly benefit from working together and showing people in Novia and not yet in Novia what player towns can be like. Thanks!
Does this have enough City-water lots for a Metropolis template?
I really like the map, it's beautiful.
By my count it has 2 potential castle lots, 4 city water lots, 53 potential City lots (which could be subdivided), 7 Town water lots, and 17 village water lots. Are these numbers what Portalarium is looking for in template designs?
Just trying to ask useful questions. ;-)
NO this isn't the template, it's our choices from the template. The template lot areas are the ones with red lines around them.
Actually it can fit 3 castles and a keep to boot <g>
