First point would be - are you really saying that Queensland isn't a land of its own?



Second point would be - that in the former New Guinea and Indonesia(parts of) would be included, which wouldn't be in the latter.

So when talking of Australia then it would be better with Australia than Australia although Australia certainly qualifies when given the context of Australia. Hence why one might want to add that "Commonwealth of" prefix.

I had the same thoughts to be honest but I wasn't sure where to draw the line. The idea is also to get a picture of the languages represented by the (active) members here. Of course I didn't want to exclude any country but I also want to avoid having 50+ countries listed with 1 click each. Alternative ideas welcome

The easiest would be to ask @Rok Yrikk to provide you the list of xenforo ip logs, and get the ISP countries from there.

But if you do want it to be manual and don't want a full country list then I'd use an existing region list instead.like the UN geo or something similar. That way one can divert complaints to the list originator instead.

It is wrong to call Finland a Scandinavian country.
Finnish is not a Scandinavian language and Finns are ethnically distinct from Scandinavians.

Please replace "Scandinavia" with "The Nordic Countries" or add "Finland" as a separate country from "Scandinavia".
