Welp... screwed that one up, missed the "multiple votes are allowed" until after I voted... anyway...

First Crafting stations at least for me will be the Refining stations (Butchery, Milling, Smelting, Tanning, Textiles)

Can't say for certain just what, but I can go with a general idea. Main reason is I don't know how many things I will be able to 'master' in the sense of being the best at one particular thing or not. And I mean that tree wise. Can I completely master, say, the Blacksmith and Tailoring, but not the others? Or maybe 3 trees only.

But, since I can't say for certain, I can estimate what I will be focusing on first: Blacksmith and Carpentry. So, any stations that deal with those - Smithy, Carpentry, Milling, Smelting, etc - will be my first ones.

Edit: Also, is there a list of every crafting table that will be in the game? Going by what links up with what in the SotA Crafting Tree Relationships, I didn't see some of the poll options represented there. Like the Woodworking option in the poll. Not doubting your poll options, but I would like a complete list linked if possible just so I can reference it.

I never found a complete list from a single source. I compiled it myself from different sources. The Woodworking table is from update #41

    https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?p=29851

Though now I'm wondering how the Wordworking table is different from the Carpentry table.

Thanks for that. I really need to go read all the updates again. Keeping track of what has/hasn't been mentioned is a pain. It looks like the Woodworking table might just be the Carpentry table... Who knows though, but I don't see a Carpentry table there like I do see the Blacksmithing table there. Weird that they would name it like that.

I wish I knew more about all the skills and what they will entail. So I'm waiting to see a future time when more is known all about them all.
    So right now I'm indecisive:confused: :cool::eek:
But maybe I'll learn more by watching the thread grow :)

Is a pity that we dont have "inscription station" (also called desktop) here. I realyl have no idea what tool or station Im going to choose. I want something with skulls and pentacles... Or maybe tailoring or carptentry, I used those skills in UO.

I'm assuming that there is still room in later episodes to expand crafting into areas like Inscription and the like.

So honestly everyone should look at this and get the ones nobody wants, because that will be the most in demand

If you do not select a Founder Crafting station in Episode 1,
and more crafting stations are created in Episode 2.
Can you select one of those new crafting stations and have it designated as a Founder Crafting station?

Oh and to answer the question. If it is a non-founder crafting station I would go for Smelting.
If it was a Founder Crafting station I would go for Blacksmithing for the boost in weapon/armor success.

Problem is to use the Blacksmithing station you need a ready supply of what the smelting station gives you.

So if you really want to be pumping out swords and other weapons into the economy (Magic Axes !)

You'll need both and also some exotic ingredients

I get two choices starting off. I wanted be brew alcohol for one, but will that require the cooking station or the alchemy station? Or will there be a third option ie a Still. My primary tradeskill will be alcohol production with a secondary in alchemy so at moment choices will be alchemy and cooking with the caveat for modification if another system is required for brewing.

    is everything.
According to this poll I would assume the lowest voted tables would be in the most demand due to supply. So maybe I will be a spinner, before investing in that smithing table.

I saw that after I voted and thought the same thing. But I really want to distill and run moonshine across New Brittanian.
